Stop the bleed course
Course Info: This Stop the Bleed® course empowers everyday people with the skills and confidence to take action during a life-threatening bleeding emergency—before professional help arrives.
Students learn how to recognize severe bleeding, apply direct pressure, pack wounds, apply tourniquets, and more! No medical background is required.
The PMED team goes above and beyond to teach additional topics during this course, and brings equipment for students to practice these hands-on skills!
Perfect for workplaces, schools, churches, gyms, community groups, and anyone who wants to be prepared to save a life when seconds matter.
Upon completion, participants receive a course completion certificate from the American College of Surgeons (ACS).

accelerated AEMT
(Advanced Emergency Medical Technician)
Course Info: The Advanced EMT (AEMT) course is designed for motivated EMTs ready to expand their scope of practice and clinical decision-making. This comprehensive program blends classroom instruction, hands-on skill labs, and scenario-based training to prepare students for advanced prehospital care.
Students will develop proficiency in IV/IO access, medication administration, advanced airway management, cardiac monitoring fundamentals, trauma care, and medical emergency management. This course will also reinforce strong patient assessment and team communication skills.
The course emphasizes practical, real-world application taught by experienced instructors who actively work in EMS and critical care environments. Graduates leave confident, capable, and prepared to function as high-performing AEMTs in today’s demanding prehospital settings.
Ideal for EMTs pursuing career advancement or agencies looking to strengthen ALS capabilities.
Prerequisite: A current EMT license and BLS certificate is required to register for this course.

BLS - (Basic Life Support)
Course Info: Our BLS Provider course is designed for healthcare professionals and first responders who need high-quality, practical CPR training they can rely on in real emergencies. This hands-on class covers adult, child, and infant CPR, AED use, effective ventilations, and relief of choking, with an emphasis on team-based resuscitation and real-world scenarios.
Students will gain confidence through guided practice and instructor feedback, ensuring they leave ready to respond when seconds matter. Upon successful completion, participants receive a BLS Provider certificate from the American Heart Association (AHA).

Course Info: This CPR, AED, and First Aid course is designed for everyday people who want the confidence and skills to help in an emergency. No medical background required.
Students learn how to recognize life-threatening situations, perform high-quality CPR, use an AED, stop bleeding, manage common injuries, and provide basic first aid for adults and children. The class is hands-on, practical, and taught in a supportive environment focused on real-world scenarios.

ACLS & PALS
Praesidium Paramedics offers ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) courses designed for healthcare professionals who want high-quality, hands-on training led by experienced instructors.
We provide both:
Initial / Recognition Courses (2 Days) – for providers earning ACLS or PALS for the first time.
Recertification Courses (1 Day) – for providers renewing their credentials.
While no public classes are currently scheduled, we can host a course on request — even for as little as one student. Whether you’re an individual provider or coordinating training for your team, we’ll work with you to build a course that fits your schedule.

Online Courses
Naloxone & Opioid Emergencies
This course teaches students the fundamentals of Opioid Overdose response, and the use of Naloxone. This online course is perfect for businesses, schools, or the lay provider looking to expand their knowledge regarding overdose care. The course has a 10 question exam, and participants who pass will receive a certificate of completion.
This course is self-paced, and takes approximately one hour to complete.
